Your pickup time is the one detail that decides whether your last morning in Mallorca is relaxed or rushed. This guide shows how far before your flight you should be collected from the north of the island, with typical drive times to Palma Airport (PMI) from each area.
How to work out your pickup time
Start from your departure time and count backwards: the time your airline asks you to be at the airport (many recommend 2 hours before departure for flights within the Schengen area), plus the drive from your accommodation, plus a margin of around 15 minutes for traffic and loading luggage.
Flights outside the Schengen area, such as to the United Kingdom or Ireland, include passport control, and queues can be long in summer. For those flights, add another 30–60 minutes, and always follow your airline’s own advice.

Example: your flight to Germany leaves at 13:00 and you are staying in Port d’Alcúdia. A pickup at around 09:45 gets you to the airport about two hours before departure, with a margin for traffic.
Busy days and early flights
- Summer changeover days (often Saturdays and Sundays) bring heavier traffic on the Ma-13 motorway and longer queues at the airport. Add 15–30 minutes.
- Early-morning flights have quiet roads, but check-in desks and security can already be busy from 5:00.
- Large groups and lots of luggage take longer to load: allow a few extra minutes at pickup.

Common questions
What if my flight is delayed on the day I fly home? Tell us by phone or WhatsApp as soon as you know, and we will move your pickup if we can. Check with your airline before changing plans: check-in may still close at the original time.
Can you collect us from a different place than where we arrived? Yes. If you change hotels during your stay, give us the new address when you book; the price depends on the pickup area.
